but seriously, it's like the best thing ever madhere is a little history lesson:
Mochi is a Japanese rice cake made of glutinous rice pounded into paste and molded into shape. In Japan it is traditionally made in a ceremony called mochitsuki. While also eaten year-round, mochi is a traditional food for the Japanese New Year and is commonly sold and eaten during that time.
Mochi is also made in small balls of ice cream that are wrapped inside a mochi covering to make mochi ice cream. (which is the type im talking about)

well the best kind can be found at trader joe's :
they have strawberry, chocolate, mango, green tea, vanilla, and coffee...
